1 – ADULT SEMINARS..
A ninety minute, informal lecture for adults, with special interest
to middle and high school teachers.
Topic – The History of the Superhero in 20th Century America.
Reflecting the mores and attitudes of the times as seen through these
fanciful comic book myths. First presented through the auspices of the
New Hampshire Council for the Humanities in their summer teachers workshops.
2 – CHILDRENS PRESENTATIONS..
An hour talk on the Making of Comic Books. Geared for classroom and
young readers library programs. I gave six of these in various libraries
throughout New Hampshire this past summer.
