Greetings Loyal Airmen, as you can see the Air Chief has his special Flight Cap on and is gearing up for his trip to Chicago next week and the Windy City Paper & Pulp Show. This will be the sixth consecutive year that Airship 27 Productions is represented at the show. Art Director Rob Davis and the Air Chief hope to see many of you Loyal Airmen there as well. Thinking about this hat, remember, you can purchase cool Airship 27 gear by visiting our on-line Cafe Press store. Simply click on to the Dirigible logo to the left of this column that will take you to our on-line book store. There you scroll all the way to the bottom of the page to find the Link to our gear store. As always, anyone wearing any Airship 27 Productions apparel to a show will either get something special for their efforts.
As the show starts next Friday, April 15th, the Flight Log is going to be posted earlier on Wednesday night so that it is up come Thursday morning. We will be doing this to premier to release of our latest pulp novel, THE DARK LAND, by writer Andrew Salmon. This is a terrific science fiction thriller you won't want to miss from the writer of “The Light of Men.” It features a stunning cover by Mark Maddox and interiors by a talented new comer named Victor Dandridge. So again, be back here next Thursday morning.
THE HEROES OF ZONE 4
For the past several months, the Air Chief has had the good pleasure of being of four co-host to the weekly podcast, ZONE 4. Begun nearly two years ago by Brant Fowler, the show records every Sat. night and then is posted the following Friday evening over on the Comic Related webside. (www.ComicRelated.com) – We talk about comics, movies, conventions, pulps, a wide variety of topics. Recently Brant had the grand idea of having a team illustration done up of the four of us in the guise of our favorite heroes. We've adapted our own for a Tee-shirt with a dirigible background that we debut here a few weeks ago. Now we thought it time to show you the team illo, which again, should eventually become a tee-shirt. Pictured left to right are, yours truly in my Zone 4 personal as Captain Ron, then its fantasy swordsman, Brant Fowler, Superhero Chuck Kennedy and Dark Lord of the Sith, Cary Kelley. Though why Cary wanted to be a Sith Lord is totally beyond any of us. Hahahah. We still like this shot a great deal and don't be surprised to see the Air Chief wearing this as a tee-shirt in the future. Hope you'll mark off Friday nights and listen in on the fun.
And there you have it, Loyal Airmen. Signing off till next Thursday. And again, hope to see you in the Windy City. Oh, yeah.
Ron – Over & Out!
