Greeting Loyal Airmen, well the Air Chief received lots of very cool and funny birthday cards last week for his 64th birthday. None more hilarious than the one above given to us by Val, better known as Our Better Half. The inside follow up read…WHO'S BEEN AROUND THE TRACK A FEW TIMES AND STILL HASN'T RUN OUT OF GAS. Hahahaha, thank you dear. We so appreciate the sentiment.

Smiling Rob Davis at Mid-Ohio Con
And while the Air Chief was happily celebrating his first birthday here in Colorado, our Airship 27 Partner and Art Director was ably representing the team in Columbus at this year's Mid-Ohio Con. One of the oldest and most loved such gatherings, Rob reports he had a great time, met a lot of great fans and got to visit with old amigos he hadn't seen in years. Thanks to all you Loyal Airmen who stopped by his table to say Hi.

While at Mid-Ohio, Rob sold quite a few of our Airship 27 Productions pulp titles. Pictured above is our latest and 11th book release of the year; MYSTERY MEN (& Women), a collection starring four brand new pulp heroes created in the mold of the classic avengers of the 1930s. In this volume you'll meet Gridiron by David Book, Red Veil by Aaron Smith, the Bagman by B.C. Bell and Dusk by Barry Reese. All delivered with a beautiful painted cover by the amazing Ingrid Hardy. As ever you can order a copy of this new Airship 27 book by clicking on to the dirigible logo to the left of this column. If you like truly unique and bizarre heroes, this is the book for you. As always, thanks for your support.

Cora, Storm Trooper, Alex, Bike Rider, Air Chief and R2D2
Finally we leave you with the above photo. Last Sunday afternoon the Air Chief was busily at work in his office when we got received a call that a group of Star Wars players were out in front of a local mall helping to kick off the soon to start Holiday Season. We immediately jumped in the car and joined our grand kids, Cora and Alex to get the fun picture you see here. Never let it be said we'll ever pass up an opportunity to celebrate Star Wars.
So till next week, Loyal Airmen, May the Force be with you!
