Greetings Loyal Airmen, we thought we’d kick off this week’s Flight Log with a bang. And what could be more BANC than another wonderful page from the back up story “Party Girl” as illustrated by artist Gabriel Retarde. This will appear a the back of “Th Brother Bones Origin Graphic Novel” issue #2 now in the final stages of production. Along with Gabriel doing this 8 pg back up tale, he also did the alternate cover which he highlighted here last week. This is, when done, is so going to blow you all away.
THE CRIMSON NUN # 3
Meanwhile artist Jesse Thomas turns in pg # 1 from “The Crimson Nun” # 3 which is part of the 4 issue mini we are doing for Antarctic Press. In this scene, our girl Gabrielle is introduced to Henri Metien, the head of the Pope’s security forces at the Vatican. We so love Jesse’s work on this series.
JIN & TONIK # 2
Wahoo, here’s as yet another colored page from JIN & TONIK # 2 as colored by the amazing Matt Webb over artist Cesar Feliciano’s wonderful artwork. With each new page, we’re getting closer to the end of this action packed issue. Stay tuned, Loyal Airmen.
ALESSIO STARTS BLACK TERROR PROJECT
Now those of you Loyal Airmen who remember last week’s Flight Log, you’ll recall the Air Chief reported having finished his 97 pg BLACK TERROR 2.0 graphic novel script. You may also recall, due to unavoidable circumstances, we lost our original artist team on the project. Luckily, Antarctic publisher Ben Dunn was able to save the day by recruiting Italian artist Alessio Nocerino. After seeing some of Alessio’s early roughs (which we displayed here) we were blown away by his talent. Alright, all leading to what you are seeing here. This is Alessio’s take on the original Golden Age comic hero Black Terror. How and why this all plays into our story will be revealed eventually and maybe we shouldn’t have posted this now. But hey, Loyal Airmen, we much prefer to share super comic pages like this, regardless of what little clues we’ve let slip by. Enjoy.
And that’s it for this week, Loyal Airmen. As ever thanks for dropping by and God bless.
