Greetings Loyal Airmen, as the Air Chief starts to put this Flight Log together, it is is Tuesday and thus far the week has gotten off to a slow start project wise. Ergo, we thought we’ve post the inked version of this first page from BLACK TERROR 2.0 by Italian artist Alessio Nocerino. Last week we showed you the penciled version and thought you’d like to see the progression. The page is now in colorist Mickey Clausen’s talented hands. When he’s done with his contribution, we’ll certainly show it off here. Stay tuned, we’ve a hunch, Alessio is a fast worker.
AND PAGE TWO
Here it is Thursday, and as we mentioned above, reports on our other projects have been nil. Nada. Nothing. Okay, then considering publisher Ben Dunn did in fact publish the FIRST TWO PAGES of this new Black Terror series over on Facebook, we figured why not give you Loyal Airmen a second wonderful page by Alessio to feast your eyes on. As of today he’s done three. But hey, we don’t want to give away the entire book. Ha.
LIKE FATHER, LIKE SON
Finally, as we were about to close up the office today, Aiden Belcher sent in this pencil rough composition of an illustration he’s doing for our new Purple Scar anthology, out third and final volume. If his name is familiar, Aiden is the son of comics artist Michel Belcher, a dear friend. As you can tell from the rough above, Aiden has definitely inherited his father’s drawing skill. We at Airship 27 are please to have him on board as one of our illustrators. This will be our second book for us.
And there you have it Loyal Airmen, as we said at the start, not much came into today. Was looking for more Crimson Nun and Jin & Tonik pages. Oh well, maybe next week. Still thanks for stopping by and stay well. God bless, Ron – Over & Out!
