Greetings Loyal Airmen, we hope you all had a great holiday weekend. The Air Chief is still ecstatic about the return of our video podcast to You Tube. HARDBACK BOOKS

Last year Amazon made it known that they could do hardback editions of our titles. So we did one collecting many of my Brother Bones stories. We liked the results and then put all that on the back burner. Our thoughts were to save doing hardbacks for when we had what we considered an exceptional offering. Well, that happened with the prequel novel, “Metropolis – Resurrection” by Charles Santino and Michael Panush, with art by James Lyle. Both the Air Chief and Rob thought this truly great book merited an extra something special; and that was a hardback edition. Ours arrived in the mail the other day (see above) and we are more than happy with result. This is a marvelous title and truly deserving of this beautiful edition. THE BOSTON BOMBERS Vol 2 – Issue # 3

Meanwhile, Rob Davis continues to draw “The Boston Bombers Vol 2.” Above is a page from Issue # 3. Yes, yes, Loyal Airmen, we are well aware we haven’t released Issue # 2 as yet. But that’s only because the good folks at (www.IndyPlanet.com) are taking a long-long time in getting it posted there. As soon that earth-shattering event happens, we’ll be sure to let you know. Sigh.

HAMLET’S END

Perhaps the most exciting item on this week’s entry is artist Zane DeGaine’s amazing new work on our western comic, “Hamlet’s End.” Above are his early roughs for pages 10, 11 & 12. Honestly, they once again remind us of why we love comics so much. When the Air Chief wrote these scenes in the script, the images in our mind’s eye was okay. But it was never as powerful and dramatic as what Zane has done here. We are so excited about this project and with luck could have this issue # 1 out before the end of the year. Wahooooo!

PODCAST # 96 IS LIVE!

And so as we wrapped up this week’s Flight Log, we are happy to announced that the Airship 27 Podcast Episode # 96 is now up at You Tube. In it, the Air Chief and Chief Engineer Rob Davis discuss the second 9 of the 18 titles we’d released since the start of the year. Then to add frosting to that cake, look what showed up in the Air Chief’s mail today!!  The deluxe, Special Edition Sherlock Holmes – Consulting Detective Vol 20.  It is beautiful and very much the collector’s item we predicted.
